SANOL, Calif. (KGO) — Several fires are currently blazing in the San Francisco Bay Area, many of which have been forced to evacuate. Stay with ABC7 News for continued coverage.

Phoenix Fire

According to authorities, an evacuation warning has been issued in Port Costa due to a fire near residential buildings.

Firefighters are urging residents to be prepared to evacuate and follow all orders from law enforcement.

Canyon Fire

This fire in Sunol prompts evacuations and threatens residential buildings.

CAL FIRE says 50 acres burned and 0 percent contained. He notes that there is a threat to power lines, and the evacuation continues.

Benicia Fire

This fire is burning near the Valero oil refinery.

Benicia Police Department tweeted The following: “Our public safety dispatchers are receiving stunning reports of grass fires on Corte Dorado near the Valero refinery. We know and @BeniciaFire is at the scene. Please follow @BeniciaFire for the latest updates on the situation.”

Timm Fire

This fire is burning near Vacaville.

According to CAL FIRE, the fire area is about 39 acres, 35% contained. Forward movement is stopped. Firefighters will be in the area for the next few hours, working to contain and extinguish hot spots.
