In Denver, police responded to three shootings and stabbings in the city Friday night.
According to a Twitter post by police at 2:11 a.m. Saturday, the stabbings took place on War East Colfex Avenue and Josephine Street. The victim was taken to a local hospital. No arrests have been made and investigators are working on the case.
A man was taken to hospital after the shooting near East 40th Avenue and Steel Street, police said on Twitter, with no initial arrest at 2:40 p.m.
Police said in a 4:18 a.m. tweet that a man was shot in the area of West Mississippi Avenue and Tejon Street. He was taken to a local hospital. Police have not made any arrests in the case.
Police are investigating the shooting in the 1200 block of Yosemite Street. The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition, police said, adding that no arrests were made at 4:43 p.m.
