In his new book Palace Papers: Inside the Windsor House – Truth and TurmoilBrown reveals much behind the scenes of the daily life of the monarchy.
AT Daily Mail reportBrown says Megxit caused “maximum havoc” to the royal couple, as well as to the country and people they left behind.
She calls their departure from Britain and royal life “a disaster for both sides”.
Calling the couple short-tempered, Brown said they could have left much more calmly and on better terms if they weren’t both such drama queens.
However, Brown believes that after the death of Queen Elizabeth, there may still be a place for Harry in the royal family.

Harry and Meghan secretly met with the Queen at Windsor Castle ahead of this month’s Invictus Games.
Brown sees this as a kind of thaw in the relationship.
She writes that Megzit upset the British because Harry was dear to their hearts. And she said that royal insiders predicted that Harry would run away from the Firm long before Meghan Markle hit the scene.
He is depicted as an angry young man who is annoyed by the restrictions of royal life, hates constant media interference, and resents his older brother’s position in the royal scheme of things.
According to Brown, the appearance of Meghan Markle changed everything for Harry. She thinks the couple “intoxicated with a shared fantasy of being tools of global transformation who, once married, would operate in the celebrity stratosphere where Princess Diana once resided.”

On top of all this, many are rooting for some kind of return to Harry’s fold, especially now that the Queen is getting weak.

Her all-important anniversary celebration is approaching and, as Brown put it, the royals need Harry and Meghan to “bring that star power and be on the balcony for the anniversary. We must have a royal family there. We can’t have (Prince) Andrew there.”
Both the Queen and Prince Charles are said to be keen for Harry, Meghan and their children to attend the platinum anniversary celebration.
Buckingham Palace is said to have promised complete safety to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex if they take part in the Queen’s 70th birthday celebrations.
