The convention is the first of its kind in a city the size of Płońsk. As PO politicians say, this is a personal decision of President Donald Tusk, who intended to meet PO politicians for the first time outside a large gathering at a convention.
During the session, the speaker will be the keynote speaker, Donald Tusk, who will deliver a keynote address.
There will also be performances by KO Club President Boris Budka, Warsaw Mayor Rafas Traskowski, MEP Radosław Sikorski, as well as Izabela Leszczyna and Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz.
In addition, there are performances planned by “ordinary people” associated with different environments, such as the military, youth.
In the second part, the convention is to amend the law recommended by the PO Board of Management. These include increasing the number of vice presidents from 4 to 10, facilitating registration on the Civic Platform, the faction leader in the European Parliament and the highest-ranking member of the Presidium and the Senate Presidium. On gender equality
In addition, the law will include the Civic Platform’s new ideological and program goals, such as striving for the separation and transparency of authorities, fighting for free media, and fighting for climate protection.
There will be no change of personnel during the convention – these are done by the National Council. Anyway, elections at all levels look forward to the platform in the near future. Between October 9 and 17, the constituency elections, and during October 23, the general election of the heads of the Povites, the heads of the regions, as well as the chairman of the PO.
