“We expect smoke from the Oak Fire to drift into the Bay Area. The higher elevations may have some smoke impact,” said Erin DeMerritt of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
While skies were clear over San Francisco and the East Bay on Sunday, there are air quality advisories in place.
Smoke from the Oak Fire can be seen from the International Space Station. The National Weather Service released a time-lapse smoke forecast map showing smoke at higher elevations throughout the Bay Area through Tuesday.

Patrick vacated his home on Saturday. The house still stands today, but its sky detail is reminiscent of what the Bay Area has seen many times, including an orange-looking sky from 2020.
