Rangnick’s career dates back decades, but his influence on some of the main players and names in football is evidence of his influence.

The 69-year-old is set to take charge of the rest of the year before taking up a consultancy position for two years.

Currently he has a job in the Russian side of Lokomotiv Moscow, so United still have to negotiate his exit before anything can be finalized.

As a result, Michael Carrick is expected to take over the game at Chelsea This weekend.

Rangnick’s impressive recruiting and clear philosophy have been a hallmark of previous clubs, which means there could be an upheaval at Old Trafford.

The Italian still has a high opinion of the Ivorian and wants to bring him to North London.

Bailly struggled to buy time in Manchester and finds himself behind Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof in the pecking order.

He recently signed a new contract at Old Trafford which could mean Tottenham will have to pay more than they would like for the center-half.
