Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah performed brilliantly for India in the second Test of the ongoing five-match series against England. The 30-year-old right-arm fast bowler took a total of nine wickets in the match played at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, as India defeated England by 106 runs and leveled the series. 1-1.

Star Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was impressive in the second Test of the ongoing five-match series against England. In the match played at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the 30-year-old fast bowler took a total of nine wickets as India defeated England by 106 runs on Monday (February 5). And leveled the series 1-1. Bumrah dismissed six English batsmen in the first innings and three in the second innings. For his stellar performance in the second Test, Bumrah won the Player of the Match award.

Bumrah made many records during the second test. He became the fastest Indian fast bowler to take 150 wickets in Test cricket and in addition, he became the first fast bowler and second overall bowler to take 100 wickets for India in World Test Championship (WTC) history. Bumrah started the game with 97 wickets in 23 Test matches and at the end of the game he had 106 wickets to his name. During the second day's play in Vizag, he achieved the feat of becoming the first Indian fast bowler to take 100 wickets in the WTC. Jonny Bairstow was his 100th wicket in the WTC.

With 106 wickets to his name, Bumrah is the ninth-highest wicket-taker in WTC history. Only Ravichandran Ashwin (157 wickets in 32 WTC matches) has managed to take more wickets than Bumrah for India in World Test Championship history. There are overall nine bowlers who have dismissed more than 100 batsmen in the WTC so far and seven of those nine are fast bowlers.
