Forge FC will appear in the second leg of their CONCACAF League semi-final next week, chasing a road goal as the two-time Canadian Premier League (CPL) champions drew 2-2 with the FC Motagua of Honduras.
The Hamilton-based club scored late second-half goals on Wednesday night from two Central American forwards on loan, Joshua Navarro in the 83rd minute and a timeout from Omar Browne to save the tie.
The second leg of the two-game qualifiers will take place on December 1 at Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino in Tegucigalpa.
When they return home next week, Forge will look to become three-time CPL Champions when they face Pacific FC in the league final at Tim Horton’s Field on December 5.
