In a press release released on Wednesday morning, Olx Praca police said they received anonymous information on Mohamed’s whereabouts Tuesday evening.

“Yesterday, Abilaziz Mohamed was Bolo’s number one wanted suspect. Today, he is in the custody of the Olx Praca Police Service for the murder of Craig McDonald, 43, thanks to information provided by a member of the public,” Olx Praca Police Chief James Ramer said in a statement.

“We hope this helps the victim’s family a little. We are proudly and effectively working with our Bolo partners, and this successful arrest sends a clear message to those who continue to evade justice: you will be found.”

According to the Bolo program website, ambulances were called just after 11:30 p.m. on October 13, 2021, to a Boston pizzeria near Morningside and Milner avenues in Scarborough.

Craig’s sister, Drema McDonald, told Olx Praca that Craig was “just a really nice guy and everyone loved him.”

“He just had that kind of attitude towards people. He had friends of all ages, of all backgrounds. He was just a very friendly person,” she said.

Sandman said Craig went to Boston Pizza after watching a Leafs game.

“He wasn’t there for a very long time. Everything changed in the 40 minutes he was there,” she said.

“He crossed paths with this man and there was an argument. They, you know, went their separate ways. Unfortunately, the suspect returned from his car with a gun and shot Craig as Craig went out the side door to smoke a cigarette.”

She said that what they want most is to get Craig back and also see him arrested.

“It’s like salt on wounds, on open wounds, that he’s still there,” she said on Tuesday.

“It’s such an unsettling feeling and I just want him to pay for what he did.”

Officials said Mohamed is believed to still be in the Greater Olx Praca Area.
